Technical Gear Introduces New Line of Sleeker Snow Goggles and Oakley Sunglasses

Ft. Myers, Florida (PRWEB) February 1, 2007

Technical Gear Sports Sunglasses (http://www.technical-gear.com) is pleased to announce its newest line of sleeker, more attractive snow goggles and Oakley sunglasses. Customer feedback during the last ski season has prompted Technical Gear to add to its already huge line of eyewear ski and snow goggles that are more aerodynamic in general. They are also offering new additions for those who must wear prescription glasses under their protective eyewear.

Snow goggles have traditionally been big and bulky, but new materials and designs are allowing for a sleeker, more aerodynamic fit that not only works great, but fits more comfortably. Wiley X Goggles offer a unique solution in their interchangeable XL-1 and SG-1 goggle styling which uses a foam gasket for a sealed fit, and comes with interchangeable lenses so the perfect solution will always be available for any conditions.

Deborah Elliott, Vice President of Technical Gear Sports Sunglasses, stated recently: "Our two most frequently requested options when talking with customers this year were eyewear for skiing that is not in a full size snow goggle and OTG (Over the Glass) goggles for prescription eye wearers. We got a lot of calls this snow season from young women looking for snowboarding goggles that weren't happy with the industry standard, full blown goggle and were looking for something sleeker and a bit more stylish. Unfortunately, snow goggles tend to be sized bigger for a sport that was overwhelmingly dominated by men in the past and is just now catching up with female needs and desires."

She goes on to state that, "Prescription eye wearers are a niche that is just not being serviced all that well. We hear from a lot of customers who aren't able to wear contact lenses and if they were lucky enough to find an OTG (Over the Glass) goggle it was usually just that 'one option.' Smith has really stepped up and we hear overwhelmingly positive feedback on their current selections, which offer something for everyone in pricing and styling. In fact, Smith Goggles offers 5 unique snow goggles for OTG (Over the Glass) needs, which represents some of our favorite technical details such as anti-fogging with airflow."

In addition to the newest styles in goggles, the company is also offering a wide selection of Oakley sunglasses to fit just about any need. In addition to its general consumer line, Oakley sunglasses are also available for sports such as golf, baseball, shooting, and many others.

The company is also proud to announce that their end of season clearance sale on snow goggles will begin on February 1, 2007. Visit Technical Gear Sports Sunglasses at http://www.technical-gear.com to learn more.
