Dreading a conversation with someone at work or at home? Chances are it’s crucial. Explore the skills you need to find your voice when stakes are high, emotions strong, and opinions clash. Join presenters Shari Barnes and Susan Oakley, and learn how to handle life’s most difficult and important conversations without fear. Each class begins with lunch, and attendance at all four sessions is required to enroll. Attendance at all sessions mandatory.

Shari Barnes is director of Employee Relations at TCU and a certified instructor of Crucial Conversations dialogue training. She has over 20 years’ experience in employment and mediation issues.

Susan Oakley, MLA, is manager of Training at TCU. Susan has 20 years of HR experience, and is certified to conduct court-ordered mediations in Texas. She is also a certified instructor of Crucial Confrontations dialogue training.
