Question by Jason B: Best oakley lens vr28 black iridium or dark grey for inmate? I am looking to buy a pair of oakley inmates and i want to know how the vr28 lens compares with the dark grey lens. I will mostly be using the glasses for driving and just general outdoors stuff in the Fl. sun. I wont be using them for any sort of sports except fishing here and there. I just want to know what would be bst for the health of my eyes??? Best answer:

all oakley lenses ,even the clear ones, block 100% of UV. They would both be good for the health of your eyes. Lens choice is very subjective some people are more sensitive to sunlight or want better visibility in shadowed areas. Go to the website below for a good overview of the different lens tints. If you're a fisherman you may want polarized lenses. http://oakley.com/innovation/optical_superiority/lens_tints
